Which American Contributor discussed in class had the most influence on the American Revolution and why?
I think Marquis de Lafayette was the most important because without him the Battle of Yorktown wouldn't be a win.
i agree with josh
I also agree with josh
Marquis de Lafayette, because he was the youngest solider and then the youngest general
Good answer, Tyler.
He was respected for being the youngest soldier.
And the youngest general.
i think that francis morsion because he was the favorite of them sall
molly pitcher was the person who made men and women equal. she was the one with the best.
I agree with tyler
I believe the most important contributor was Thomas Jefferson in his act of writing the Declaration of Independence. This tells the British and possible allies we are serious about getting our independence and winning this war.
good answer wayne
I agree that was important but without the troops we couldn't have even gotten Thomas Jefferson to be safe when he wrote The Declaration of Independence.
But without the Declaration of Independence our cause wouldn't seem as valid thus maybe costing us the alliance with France and that caused us to win the Revolution.
I AGREE WITH WAYNE AND ARYSSA!!!!!
That is a good answer, but Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence for Americans not so British would think diffrent
True, I will agree with that.
I agree with Wayne that we needed to make our point that we wanted to be Independent.
I agree with Wayne we needed to make our cause known before we worried about battles.
I agree with you wayne
I also think Thomas Jefferson was the most important contributor to the American Revolution.
Good answer, Wayne
I agree with Wayne
I agree Wayne.
I agree 100%
That is very true Wayne.
I think that Baron Friedrich Von Stueben was the most important contributor because, without him the Continental army wouldn't be as strong as it was.The Baron trained the troops to be a good army and to use good tactics.
Did he fight in the Battle of Yorktown?
I'm not sure but he did train troops that likely did.
But without his training the troops Marquis de Lafayette used to win the battle would not have.
he did fight in the battle of new york. get it right.
This is another good answer because Baron Friedrich Von Stueben was able to turn men who knew very little about fighting and turn them into soldiers.
I agree with Hayden
I agree with you Liam.
I agree with this.
That is true Liam i like your reasoning!!
I agree with that.
I think molly pitcher should be a good stamp because she mad all men and women equal. i think that how it should be today. If they can do it in the back days they can do it here today. that is how i feel about it today all women and men should be equal. I think that men did something wrong the women should not be punished. plus she fought in the revolutionary war she carried pitchere of water to her men in the revolutionary war.
you totally forgot that she took over her husbands place at the canon after he got injured
i totally forgot that she took over her husbands place. but didn't her husband did the revolutionary war first then molly pitcher did the revolutionary war. i'm so confuse.
I think that Francis Marion was the most important contributor because he refreshed the use of guerilla warfare. He was able to keep large groups of British soldiers occupied by using guerilla warfare while others made plans to attack.
I thought about Francis Marion as the most important because he kept resources tied up in the south. This act kept England away from the prizes in the north.
He was another important American contributor too. Nice answer.
I think Lydia Darragh was the most important because she was the one that spied on the British when they were having there meeting about the war. So after that she went to tell George Washington what they had planned so they could pretty much make there plans better.
i agree with abigale
george clark was the best one to because he was the leader basicly in the revolutionary war
I think Baron Friedrich Von Steuben was one of the American contributors that had the most influence on the American Revolution. I think this because he trained the continental army into some of the best troops.
Not only did he train them to be the best troops he trained them in a short amount of time, in the winter when almost 5,000 of their men died.
And without out him George Washington wouldn't have a army trained to win the war.
I think Casmir Pulaski was the most important contributor because he used great Calvary tactics brought from Europe. The Tactics Casmir Pulaski brought to The Continental Military reformed the American Calvary to give them a big advantage on the battlefield.
I like the way Connor stated his opinion. The facts followed by an informed opinion was the "bees knees".
i argree connor
Good answer Connor.
I think le Marquis de Lafayette was the most important contributor because he lead the battle of Yorktown. That win ended the Revolutionary War. Also, he was the youngest soldier, and the youngest general.
i agree with Heather
i argree with heather because the guy was important imn the revolutionary war. he waas also the youngest general.
I think Thomas Jefferson was the most important contributor to the American Revolution. He wrote the Declaration of Independence which stated we wanted freedom and liberty, which formed an alliance between America and France. The Declaration of Independence also ended the war.
Good answer, Kayden, but the soldiers that fought the battles did help just a *little* bit.
The Declaration did not end the war, we adopted it on July 4th, 1776 the American Revolution ended on September 3rd, 1783.
Good answer Kayden.
I think the most important contributer is Bernardo de galves because he is the one who captured Fort St. Joseph will a very brilliant tactics! He also was one of the best noblemen yet. He was very intellagent too!
I think Thomas Jefferson was the most important because (like Wayne said) without him our alliance with France most likely wouldn't have existed and without the French's help the Colonies most likely would've lost the Revolution. He also wrote (most of) the Declaration of Independence which told the British we aren't messing around.
Who wrote the Declaration of Independence with him?
Ben Franklin and Roger Sherman
How many people were in the room with Thomas Jefferson and the others and why did John Hancock Put his name in the highest font?
John Hancock put his name biggest because they wanted to know who to give the copies to once they printed them out. He needed to make it clear to read. I think... but don't hold that against me if I'm wrong.
I kind of agree with ever one they all played an important
I think Baron Friedrich Von Steuben was the most influence on the American Revolution because he took a rag tag team of farmers into the best fighting force on the planet. In doing this the colonist finally had a chance against the British.
What about le Marquis de Lafayette winning the battle of Yorktown to end the war??
I think Baron Friedrich Von Steuben was the biggest contributor because he came over from germany and trained our troops and they turned out with knowing nothing about fighting to knowing something about fighting.
I think that Baron Friedrich Von Steuben was the most important because he was a great leader and had great tactics. But then again I agree with Lucas
i think it was Thomas Jefferson because he wrote the declaration of independence
that is also a good answer Aryssa that is true i like that answer i put Baron Friedrich Von Steuben but i agree more with you than my self :)
I agree with you Aryssa. he was really Important
he just didn't right the decelartion of independence he wrote some of the decelartion ofindependence. he was a criple too.
i think Casimir Pulaski because with out a cavalry their would never be anyone to help when Washington's army is in trouble
I think George Rogers Clark was the most important because he took Fort Vincennes back from the British with only 172 militiamen. He was also the highest ranking American Military Officer on the northwestern frontier. He put a lot of money into the army also. When he left the army he was broke and had major debts from all the money he put into the army.
I believe that Thomas Jefferson is the most important contributor because he wrote The Declaration of Independence.
I must desugree
i thank josh is right.
I think Thomas Jefferson was the best because he made the Declaration of Independence and that warned the British.
I believe Thomas Jefferson was the most important, Because he wrote the declaration of independence.
I think Marquis de Lafayette was the most important because. He was a young soldier and a young general and to be a general so young you have to be skilled.
I think that George Rogers Clark was the most important Because without him the Treaty Of Paris 1783 would have not been made. Plus the British would still have the northwest territory.
I think Lydia Darragh. Because she single handedly saved the revolution by warning George Washington about an incoming attack. She did not have to get involved, but she did.
